This is an old song, written in my late teens. I needed something to record for a music production unit for uni and selected to do a version of this with some new ideas associated with it – specifically the alternating between swing and a straighter Latin beat. My singing aside, I’m generally happy with it. It’s a bit boomy still – I have a little work to do on taming the bass frequencies – but it’s good enough for now.
I’ll probably cut another version when I figure out how to smash down the bass a bit more. In the meantime, set your EQ accordingly and enjoy!
