The cert provider for the website seems to have changed the way it issues certs, and I’m not knowledgeable enough about Linux Apache admin to fix the fubarness that occurred while I was fixing it. Rather than reverting the whole thing back to a stable site design where the outcome would be that the cert service was still not working, I exported content to a new server instance, found a better supported way to do TLS/SSL certification and it mostly seems to be working now.
Expect a few kinks while I get the site sorted out properly. I’m in the last week of semester one of the second year of my degree, so I can’t justify spending any more time on this right now than I already have. Too much assignment work and exam revision to get done.
On the upside, 94% for my aural test last week and I’ve managed to get an HD on another piece of work in the same subject. Fingers crossed that I can make up some lost ground.
